were you down in brunswick lately? i'll be down there in 2 weeks. (i spent a big part of my childhood living there.) that's the sidney lanier bridge, which replaced a (beautiful but functionally obsolete) drawbridge of that same name that used to be there. the bridge doesn't go to jekyll island, though. you have to take a causeway (the downing musgrove causeway) and cross the jekyll creek on the m.e. thompson bridge to get to jekyll. the southern end of the sidney lanier bridge just lands in an unincorporated part of glynn county.
