How long do you think you are going to take? I just got an email last night that very good friends from Jersey City are coming down this weekend. We don't usually do brunch on Sunday when they visit for the weekend until 11. So if I plan this right, I can do both!

Hmm. That won't work. My friends (while my friend's boyfriend) are not the chi-chi brunch types. We normally have brunch at American City Diner or Florida Avenue Grill when they are here. He's not much for fancy food. He's a Jersey boy.
My boyfriend either, frankly, especially for brunch (which he's not a fan of anyway). Anyplace near H Street with good old fashioned diner food? Eggs? Bacon? Grits? Hash browns? If so, perhaps I can duck out and they can all meet me there.
