Robert, it was meant to demoralize you and other progressives - I have some idea how you feel, but I don't know who is really paying attention at this point.
It was a very honest post.
It was not a deliberate leak. This works on the Conservative base, but no one else. For the rest of us, it is a reminder of what these yahoos really stand for and motivates us.
There are better ways for the Conservatives to guarantee airtime for this sort of thing than to rely on a lone Liberal to pass it along, and then for the Liberals to not notice that it will help Harper (according to this theory) and to pass it to the media.
I watched the conspiracy theory work it's way out of the Right this past day. It's what they tell themselves in order to further promote that 'Harper as a master strategist' crap.
Harper's is good, but not great.
