i called the fair for rates for my 24 foot vending trailor to sell my goods and the rent was $8,000 and thats before I sell anything .motels are $120.00 a night for 14 days not counting fuel,insurance,power,employees ,workmans comp. You better be glad your fries were not $20.00
I found your blog on the MN state fair when I typed "Minnesota State Fair Sucks" into Google. I can honestly say that 5 years since your experience there, absolutely nothing has changed. Your description was spot on and completely encapsulated my experience there today in 2008. I only wish your blog would come up as number one when people Google "MN State Fair". By the time we left we were calling it "Hell on a Stick" and the "Minnesota State Rip-Off". By the grace of God, if anyone stumbles across this blog while trying to decide to go to the MN State Fair, just know that pretty much anything else you could think of doing would be cleaner, classier, cheaper and far more interesting.
