Gravatar Tad's a paperback author for me. There's a lot to admire about his books, but something about them always leaves me a bit cold. I can't put a finger on it, but whether it's Tailchaser, MS&T, or Otherland, each one seems to be missing an important *something* that doesn't allow me to become as fully immersed as in some other authors' work. I like him enough that I'm always tempted to buy the hardcover, but not enough that I actually do.

Gravatar Well, since my birthday's coming up, am planning to get Shadowmarch as TPB, UK version. Good enough justification than any right?

Funny enough, I love my HB of MS&T book 3 since I never liked the splitting of the book into 2.

But aside from that, never really thought of getting him in HB.

Gravatar Tad is one of my top 5 writers, so he's ALWAYS a hardback for me.

Gravatar Yep , Tad's a pretty good read (MS&T , recommended by some FitzFlagg fella)I enjoyed his writing and story telling alot . As for HB , I can barely afford PB's let alone a frosty Guinness . Mmmm Guinness !!
BTW nice blog Rob !

Gravatar Thanks Brad.

There are always funds for Guinness. Hell the day I got laid off from the Job from Hell, I told my wife I needed to buy some beer.

Gravatar Well, you know that old song:

"In heaven, there is no beer; that's why we drink it here..."
