I finished this one up a few days ago and I pretty much agree with you - though I really think this is the best thing that Scalzi's written yet.

It is pretty good, but I think I liked The Android's Dream slightly more. Then again, I'm a sucker for fart jokes.

I'm about midway through 'The Ghost Brigades' and I'm glad to hear that the goodness is continuing. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Everywhwre I turn people are saying good things about John Scalzi's books. I thought the first two were great and I'm working my way through Last Colony at the moment (which is out in the UK next month) and then I may have to import Zoe's Tale, patience isn't one of my virtues...
