All I would add is that the United States Constitution is one of the great works and great achievements of the human race. Of course America has made mistakes. To try as hard to perfect freedom as this country has it would be impossible to not make mistakes. But along with the mistakes we have much to be proud of. Each and every time there is a great conflict on this world it will be America that will come to the defense of free people.
However our greatest challenge is internal. We see today in France the future that may come to our nation in the next decade. Socialism is not dead, it has merely been repackaged.
Al Gore, Barry Obama, Hillary Clinton, and almost all of Hollywood will bring the choice to go the way of Western Europe. A disutopia of Social Democracy. The cool kids will tell us it is the hip intellectual choice. But it will be the conservatives and the libertarians that will fight at the ballot box. We value our freedom to much to see it be diminished by “death by a thousand cuts”. A government that controls all aspects of our daily lives.
Ask not what your government can do for you, ask what you can do for yourself. Only your self actualization can make you free.
