I have visited your blog site before and found it interesting; I like your perspectives and you habit of researching issues. Please keep it up! I am interested in the Eyeworks project for Nadya Suleman and think they might actually do something more or less tasteful. I know they do some pretty controversial topics but they seem to do a fair job with them. Maybe they can show us a different, more sympathetic side of Nadya. RO sure didn't.

have you seen any of the eye works productions to know if they put the prime character in a good light or is it just the same as ro?

Hi Millie and Susan, sorry, been super busy.
I'd say yes to the quality of Eyeworks.

Personally, I find it just awful that everyone sees the title "Half Ton Mum" and assumes it's trash tv. OK, let's face it, our society doesn't exactly worship morbid obesity, but from the clip I garner that this truly is a documentary, not a program done for laughs. If this is the type of work they do considering the sensitivity of this subject, I'd say they would definitely not be looking to egg Nadya on like RO did for tabloid reasons.
OK, if you guys watched it, what do you think? Keep in mind that Luke Campbell (if he is going to be doing the project) is an award winning documentarian.

I saw the "Half ton mom" show and thought it was well done. I found myself in sympathy with the lady and was very sad to hear that she had died when she had success and a new happier life in sight. My daughter has a best friend who weighs probably about 600 pounds and I know what a struggle it is for her. She still works full time and gets around all over but what a way to live. Her son is about as big as her and he is in his 20's. I truly believe obesity at least in some cases in a real disease, not just someone out of control. The friend has an underactive thyroid which wasn't picked up on until she was very obese

Hi Millie, I take it you were able to see the entire show and not just a clip.
It's pretty darn presumptive of anyone to see the title of a documentary and then go on to criticize it in ugly ways if you ask me. I guess it's ok for people to make fun of obesity in some people's minds. I had an aunt who died recently who was morbidly obese, about 600 pounds. Ironically her childhood nickname stuck with her all her years, "Bitsy". Bitsy was the finest woman I have ever known, her home was open to anyone, she NEVER spoke a bad word about anyone, and was one of the most loving human beings on earth. It would NEVER occur to any of us to make fun of her, and through her we were able to learn something because she would talk about her obesity openly. On the note of Luke Campbell, he is an emmy award winning documentarian. Let the critics nibble on them apples.
People hungry for smut find it where it doesn't even exist.

Victor Munoz is nothing but an opportunist in my humble opinion.

Note the time cited in this article from India "Jackson died just three weeks after the conversation, on June 25 of a suspected cardiac arrest." How would Munoz have had anything to do with any contacts with Nadya made on this date?

Hi Millie,
I call BS on this story. On the other hand, if the Mirror actually did interview Victor Munoz and he actually did say this, I again call BS. Victor Munoz is all about himself. Even if it were true, how would it benefit Nadya?
Of course some people might spin it to say that "look who was wanting to buy her babies, and hey, she would have never in a million years 'sold' them according to Munoz". And...........? To tell you the truth, I am absolutely FED up with the conjecture about any of this. On a personal note, I have other things on my plate which are much more meaningful than trying to guess at anything "Nadya" Unless anyone has information based on FACT, I'm putting it in my brains's automatic SPAM folder. Nadya has gotten herself into this pickle, Nadya and Nadya ALONE is the one who must deal with it. Take her "attorney" of record and forget about him also. Next thing of ANY importance that I know of, the court date. This whole thing is just ridiculous, but the most ridiculous thing is to continue for months on end to spend so much time ripping her to pieces and making up theories. There are fourteen precious children involved here, and they and their mother's ability to take care of them is the ONLY thing at this moment, 9:40 am Monday morning that is of any consequence to me, and since none of that has anything to do with ME, I'm not interested. Let Victor flap his lips IF he said this, SO WHAT!!!

Hi Millie, just a note, I apologize if it sounded as if I was saying, "SO WHAT" to you because I wasn't. I'm saying I've had enough of all the continued theorizing about tabloid info.

I fully understand your frustration; the only thing that has kept me involved is the way people are dissecting her to examine every move and every motive. I say they need to just let her get on with her life and the care and raising of those children
