I congratulate Phyllis Beenis on this superb piece. The US has always acted as an appendage of Israel or the dog that allowed its tail to wag it. Basically, the liberation of the occupied Palestinian territories and peace in the Holy Land will only come after liberation of the corridors of power in DC.

So nice to have you "visit". I agree, once again Phyllis Bennis hits the nail on the head with every point she says and writes. Israel simply could NOT do what it does without the blessings of the US. As an American it makes me beyond sick to my stomach because there simply is NO justice whatsoever. Personally though, I feel the tides are changing and more and more people are waking up to the fact that IF we continue this blind support, at the very least it is against our own values which we ESPOUSE-and in that I continue to hope that justice WILL come for the Palestinian people.
