When Reid was speaking at that partisan pep rally they held at the Library of Congress (which is another no-no, but hey.. they are Democrats, they do whatever they want) Reid said "I know a thing or two about corruption."
I heard it on Fox News but have been unable to find a transcript or video.
The man ssssuuuurrrreeee does know a thing or two about corruption.
I keep this little link handy in my sidebar:

You guys just don’t get it!
-When the democrats do it they are simply doing their duty, representing their constituents.
-When the republicans do it, they are crooks. Evil monsters trying to take over the world. We are a gathering storm intent on destroying all that is good in the world.
LOL There, that should cover it. Now no libs need bother post on this.

They complained about Nixon so much they must have Stockholm Syndrome. When they do it, it is ok.

Oh yeah, that is funny too about your husband telling you...that you have been blogging too much. Reid is so ugly, that it would be understandable to miss him.
The Saga continues....the Culture of Corruption!! Wonder what the Dems next campaign slogan is going to be. The red hands just keep getting caught.

Umm...
Robin I don't know if you've noticed but Reid's legislation ended up empowering MORE federal regulation of boxing, whereas the boxing commission, who were supposedly bribing Reid by your account, wanted LESS federal regulation.
So either their price was too low for Reid, or conservative claims of quid pro quo are a steaming pile of folderol intended to distract from the additional REPUBLICAN congresspersons implicated in the Abramoff sweep, as exposed during the course of the Savafian trial. That's REPUBLICANS who were accepting gifts, trips, and other percs like skyboxes, in order to assist Abramoff in his enormous money laundering operation.
But nice try though.

BTW, check out today's Las Vegas Review Journal. In it you'll find:
_______
Boxing promoter Bob Arum said Reid and McCain also sat in ticketed seating at about three matches each but paid for their tickets "invariably." Arum said McCain and Reid's seats at the Hopkins-de la Hoya fight, on the other hand, were credentials from the commission, not tickets from Arum. But McCain, who brought his wife to the fight, sent Arum a check for the price of two ringside seats.
Arum said he didn't know what to do with the money.
"Those credentials cannot be sold," he said. "There's no price on them. (They are given to) governors, attorney generals, boxing commissioners of other states. ... It's illegal to accept money for a credential."
Arum said he couldn't accept McCain's money but McCain wouldn't take it back, so Arum donated it to Catholic Charities.
_________
So you see it would have been illegal for Reid to give money for his seats. The promoter was forced to give McClown's money to charity.
So much for the Democratic COC, eh? Heh.

So what? That doesn't explain Reid's shady ties to Abramoff. The fact is the culture of corruption does not follow party lines.

"their price was too low for Reid"
That might be one of the few things that Bilfold has said that makes sense.
Take a look at the link I posted Bilfold and see what the price is to get what you want from Reid:
