They talk about running down civvies. My wife's godson talked about that too (he was in the initial invasion and did at least one more tour in Iraq after that).
The word he used in conjunction with stopping for Iraqis in the road was AMBUSH. That is, terrorists were forcing the Iraqi/family into the road to stop a convoy and if the convoy would stop the terrorists would attack the convoy.
As far as the dogs thing, don't get me going on that. When I was in the UAE any of my Western compatriots who owned a dog had to keep them on a short leash lest the police shoot the dogs. You see, Arabic culture & Islam in particular does not take kindly to dogs.

Marcus - I had several friends who served in Iraq and they told of ambushes set up by kids running into the road. They also spoke of dead animals in the road filled with explosives and numerous other creative IED ideas.
You're right about the treatment of animals. Michael Yon just covered that a few weeks ago (all the animals slaughtered in a village by al Qaeda prior to killing all the residents)
War sucks and it ain't pretty especially when you're dealing with terrorists that would kill their own kids just to take the lives of American soldiers.

Identify and track down the democrats putting out these 'stories' since the cowardly democrats always make up stories to make hero's of themselves (ex Hanoi John Kerry). When they are located provide their name and address to some of the vet's that are real hero's. Maybe they're just PO'd enough the eleminate some more slime.

So just to get this straight Robin, since you banned me and I have to use some loopholes in order to post...
You consider disagreeing with you and continuing to argue about it on your comments section a BANNABLE offense, but this dude scrapiron posts multiple times quite literally advocating MURDER in real life and you think that's just hunky-dory because he agrees with you politically. You're a real paragon of justice and morality.

The article, "The Other War: Iraq Vets Bear Witness", was written by Chris Hedges and Laila Al-Arian. The name Al-Arian should sound familiar. Laila Al-Arian is the daughter of Prof. Sami Al-Arian...
Like I need to read any further than this!!! What a farce!

Silence - you were banned because i was sick of the repetitive talking points not because i disagreed with you. I don't have to explain anything else to you but thanks for reinforcing my decision to ban you. Get a life.
