I don't have to tell you that Aliff and Wright both had bios on IVAW because you know that. So being a soldier gives you a blanket shield to say whatever you want without being questioned? Playing winter soldier is NOT supporting the troops no matter how many times you attempt to justify your position. If you have evidence to back up any of your or your comrades claims of war crimes, etc, put up or shut up.
We aren’t the ones putting out a PDF flyer discouraging people from joining the military. Is your real motivation to educate people, or strangle the military via manpower?
But I'll want for the report from the command at Fort Drum...
Thanks for providing all the links to Dahr's articles. It's a great opportunity for people to read about the reality on the street in Iraq. Not being embedded, Dahr had the opportunity to talk to people on the ground where the impact of the war is felt most keenly - in the hospitals, morgues and refugee camps. If anybody on this site has as much time in on the streets of Baghdad and Fallujah as Dahr Jamail, I'd be interested in their perspective. Those who formulate their opinions in their armchairs after watching Fox news are invited to visit downtown Baghdad - once you've spent some time there, talking to regular Iraqis, you might have something worth saying.
