I'd like to but I have to register to read it, and well, I have this about having to register to read the news. If you could provide it in another format, I'll be happy to read and respond.

I don't see it as an insult, but then I don't have a blog either so perhaps I am not the best judge. Tho I have to say I have about 25 mommyblogs book marked that I read daily and that should count for something!
Keep up the good work. Really.

Several blogs I read today have mentioned that article today, so I just read it now to see what it was all about.
I'm still trying to digest what it was all about, but I'm thinking that there were some grains of truth to what was said, but overall, I didn't agree with their general umbrella assessment regarding why parents blog. There was something about the tone that didn't ring true for me...at least based on the mommy blogs that I tend to read. Besides DotMom, I've not read any of the other blogs that were mentioned, so I don't know what the tone or perspectives of those other blogs are like.

I agree with you - I thought that article was condescending. But at least the media noticed that blogging is not just for political hacks.

In my opinion, what he was writing was JUST his opinion, and not news, NOT facts.
The point that he missed is that there are some really good writers out there. It doesn't matter if they are self absorbed, narcissistic, or even boorish, if they write well, they are worth reading. His article, with all of its mistakes, was, in my opinion, not worth reading.

I love Lillianna's post! I had never thought about letting my children post an entry on my blog. What a neat idea!
