I can feel the hurt and pain of losing such a dear friend and I'm just so glad you found one another before it was time for him to go. Yes, indeed, many things in life are so very mysterious!
pretty miraculous that you all found each other in time, that you were able to openly express your love and fondness for one another, that it was still all there. I enjoyed my one skype conversation with him - what a character!
You've suffered two big losses so close together...cry until you think you can't cry anymore, then cry some more. And remember how well these men loved you and what dear friendships you had. That is the best it gets, baby.

I'm sorry that your friend was taken from your lives,and this earth too soon. That you were able to reconnect, even for a month, is something to be thankful for. You have done him a good deed with your thougthtful posts. As we have been so clearly reminded of this past week, art remains long after the artist is gone.
Perhaps it is the human condition to believe that love can save those we care about from death. Think of this: It saves us while we live. It surely meant the world to Martin that you found him and told him what he meant to you. How much deeper and fuller his time here was, for the hearing of your words.
I'm so sorry for yet another loss in your lives. Hopefully Martin's love for you will ease your grief now that he's gone.
