Gravatar she is gorgeous! don't blame you a bit for bringing her apples.

Gravatar She looks so sweet. I'd be bringing her apples too.

Gravatar beautiful photos and post.

Gravatar Wow - Rush Creek (Rocky Creek?) is amazing! I love the flow of water over a large outcrop.

Congratulations on post 998!

Gravatar What a beautiful baby!! I am glad that you are helping her along.

Gravatar She is darling. Hope she liked the apples. It is so sad she is alone.
Loved the picture of the tree. For a second it looked like the barn was on fire.
Thanks for numbering the blog. I was wondering how close you were to the magic number.

Gravatar It looks beautiful, a place you can find so much of what you enjoy. The little doe's picture is precious. I wish so many of them didn't get killed by cars in our area. It might be what happened to her mother

Gravatar You're having too much fun at your new place. Thanks for the great photo's!

Gravatar Oh my goodness, what a sweetie! No harm in feeding her. If you had a few apple trees growing in your yard, you'd be feeding her just the same.

The photos of your "yard" pull at my heart. It's like the magical land I see when I've read fantasy tales of princes or peasants living near or traveling through the woods. What an astonishingly beautiful place you live!

I'm anxious to hear about the offer you made on the other property. I hope it turns out well for you, however it turns out (if that makes any sense).

Gravatar She is so precious! And I'm so glad you leave the apples for her -- I would do the same thing. What a beautiful place you have found for yourselves! I know it took time, but looks to me as though it was well worth it!

Enjoy your week! And blow a kiss to the little one for me!

Sylvia

Gravatar As the days get grayer and shorter, I am envious of the longer daylight hours we had in California. I wish we saw deer enough to even recognize individuals.

Gravatar Beautiful on all counts, little doe and lovely rocky water scene. It's amazing to me that she can survive on her own...

Gravatar In the late 80's I lived in Connecticut and had a fawn like that coming to the yard (a whitetail, though)who was alone and very tiny. And very tame. I named her Baby Doe. It didn't end well, but thank you for awakening the good memories of Baby Doe. You may borry her name. xo jz

Gravatar What a sweet little thing. How could you not provide some opportunities for her? I hope you will enjoy watching her this winter.

Gravatar What a sweet little deer. Keep her close, it's deer season right now. Good idea with the apples.
