Gravatar Full moon in scorpio -- I hope the kitty isn't howling

You kids are just amazing. Had a friend call this morning wanting to drop by for coffee. So she came by, said where she's staying this week, has no idea where she'll be next week ... and it's like ... I don't know ... there's all this trust that it's all going to be alright, and it IS going to be alright.

Have you seen the world's largest totem pole yet?

Gravatar That's such a familiar area -- so I'm enjoying imagining your trip. The temporary accommodations sound perfect. I can't wait for you to find the cord to connect your camera to the computer!

Gravatar Congrats on your quick trip to your new house. find the cord! I wanna see! south of crecent city was a very small rv park. we got to stay there one nite, it was fantastic. The residents there put out cat food for the foxes that lived around there. so in the middle of the night when one of the dogs had to go out I was treated to a male red fox making the rounds eating and marking the entire park. It was the closest I had come to one that close. They were very tame. and yes I they really smell! LOL!

Gravatar The drive must have been beautiful, if a little bittersweet. I'm looking forward to updates as they are posted. You two are role models for the rest of us schlubs.

Gravatar I'm going to hold my breath until you post pictures. Okay, starting now.

Gravatar hooray for home sweet home!

Gravatar Congratulations! How exciting! I grew up an Air Force brat and the only thing I like more than having a home base is moving! ENJOY!

Gravatar well, was the kitty willing?

Welcome back to California, dear ones. Can't wait for photos. Since my move, I can't find my camera's battery recharger, and now battery is dead and I'm screwed. Grrrr.

Hot tub comes tomorrow. Yee-HA!

Gravatar I look forward to pictures as that is indeed a beautiful part of the world.

Gravatar Welcome back to California. Send pics when you can!

Gravatar Hi Everyone! Thanks for all your good wishes and thoughts. It means so much to us in this time of wild transitions to have this blog and your presence as an anchor and constant.

We're going to go out today with the camera and see what beautiful sights we can find. There are plenty, we just have to decide which new trail to take. Should it be in a redwood forest? the sand dunes? the beach? the big lagoons? The possibilities are endless. We are excited.

Gravatar How about redwood forests and then down to the beach?
Glad to hear you guys landed safely.

Gravatar thanks so much for keeping us posted...very exciting...wishing you well as you settle in...aloha to indigo from lynne and gary

Gravatar May you find the home of your dreams!

Gravatar I feel so happy knowing you two are walking around somewhere in Humboldt County at this very moment.

My mind is filled with splendid images of the landscape between Port Townsend and Humboldt County via the route you took. Thanks so much!

Looking forward to seeing your photos as you explore Humboldt County. And any you took on your way there.

Gravatar Catching up on your moving posts. Hope all is well and you get settled in comfortably ... including Bonsai.
Take care.

Gravatar Well, the next chapter of your adventure begins. Glad you've landed safe and sound. Me, I locked myself out today. Insane.

Gravatar Thanks for the update and sounds like things are happening as to be expected! LOL

Gravatar Congratulations on all the good news. Comment counter thingy on the blog says 18 comments, which would make this the 19th, but no comments come up.

As you mentioned.

Anyhoo, enjoy your deserved rest and store up energy for the next assault.

Gravatar I guess comments are back on. Glad to hear you both made it safe and sound.

Gravatar Dear friends,

I've been reading your blog for several months and feel I have come to know you...but have never commented...until now!

I'm on some kind of broadly similar journey, having left behind a life of professional lefty activism to go and live in a Zen monastery in France and follow a path that, much to my surprise, has been the source of the greatest happiness and meaning I have known.

I'm in Vancouver for a few months (after 5 months in the monastery)where I lived for many years; mostly to visit with my son before I move to England where I'll be one of the managers in a very beautiful small Buddhist retreat centre in Devon called the Barn.

Anyway. It is always a joy to read your musings, your wise writings - to sift through your photos and to celebrate your love for each other.

Thanks for being such excellent dharma bums and dharma buddies, as we say in Buddhist circles.

Blessings to you and your new home, which seems to be with one another as much as it will be somewhere in California some time soon.

John

Gravatar Good luck.

See ya someday. Later,

Gravatar Escrow closed! Money's in the Bank? Hey bummies can you lend me a dime. La la la..

Ha. Just singing. That's all. I couldn't resist.

Gravatar Good news on escrow closing. And it appears like comments are consistently back on.

Gravatar "so glad you made it..."
