Cord, what intrigues me is that posts I think will fly with readers sometimes fall flat and while others fly. Jonathan certainly taught me new tactics to garner comments!

Great post! An incredible amount of fabulous information. Though I will say that even today 6 months after I launched my blog, I still am surprised at times how some posts I write really work and create discussions while others just fall flat.
Saul, thank you for bringing the Postiecon Conference to our attention. Just thought I'd add that when I checked the site I noticed it'll be held in Vegas in November, 2007 and that Bloggers Choice Awards will be named. Sounds exciting for folks.

Brilliant post and very useful for those who are stating with blogging and for those who want to upgrade their blogging skills. I'm so happy to see such rich and full of hyperlings post, as it was one of mine 'preaching' and teaching keyword for successful blogging, at my recent lectures I gave on (science) blogging.

Steve, so glad tools give you a lift. Tecchie factors challenges me most in blogging. I'm working hard to strengthen these "smarts." Some of these tools really help that side of blogging.

Hi Robyn - Thanks for referencing my interview with Jonathan in your blogging toolbox! I learned a great deal from him and from all of the people that I interview each week.
What I've discovered in the process of doing weekly interviews is that it is so important to connect with other bloggers on a regular basis. Every person holds a unique piece of the overall puzzle.
Connecting with others about their blogging experiences is a fantastic way to learn a great deal in a very short amount of time as well as meet new friends. I know that many people don't have the time to do this. My goal is to share my discoveries with others while learning as well.
