Anna, it truly is the inconsistency of not putting an item in the same place each time that causes our downfall. Perhaps as you set it down, it is so insignificant to you that you don't even focus on it. Do you think that is part of the problem?

Robyn, funny you write about this, where are my keys, my sunglasses, my camera too all the time. I have not learn from my husband yet, lol, that if I put it always in the same place, I will always find it, lol. Anna

Robert, had to laugh when you mentioned the hippopotamus.
You and I evidently both love novelty and adventure. I enjoy bringing innovation to folks through the work Ellen and I do as well.
Are you still taking long walks with your dog?

Funny; I always thought a hippocampus was where large river mammals went to college... (sorry!)
Wow, if that thing about novelty is true, then I must have a REALLY large hippocampus! I mean, lookin' for novelty in life, the universe, and everything is pretty much what gets me up in the mornings!

Brad, that's why there's nothing like the present to develop a lifestyle to help enable mental fitness throughout life. I know genes can enter in, but the findings from research are truly hopeful.
I appreciate the addition of your family experiences and your outlook on this.

Hi Robyn, Having several family members who have or had memory problems, I can tell you and your readers how important it is to do everything possible to keep your mind active and sharp. Memory loss is a terrible burden for the person who is suffering and those who are close.
