Gravatar Robert, you'll laugh when I share that I was going around in circles until I suggested Ellen hire someone to do behind the scenes technical things. I asked Brad about if he did that and he recommended Lara. Often that is money well spent.

It did turn out great.

I love to give a nod - especially to you!

Gravatar Thanks for the nod, Robyn! I'm glad it turned out great - if it had been me, I would have been reduced to running in circles. Or something.

Gravatar Ellen, your lovely metaphor inspires me. Maybe I need to give this mantel to Lara, who just finished final touches on your site today.

Gravatar Robyn, once again - whatever you touch turns to gold! Thanks for mentally touching and helping to cast my new work in gold. You inspire us all!

Gravatar Lara, I wanted folks to know about your services since you are reliable and excellent in what you do.

Wow, I may take you up on moving to Word Press myself! My glitch has been that I have Haloscan comments and it might be a real trick to move these over.

Thanks for checking out my blog!

Gravatar Robyn, thank you so much for the kind words in the writeup. I'm so glad we could get everything running the right way, and "fixed up" after the fact for Ellen.

You know, it's not that difficult to move from a Blogger/Blogspot blog to self-hosted WordPress. Let me know when you're ready!

Gravatar Chris, I like your notion of just one click. It's amazingly hard when you do not know that secret! Did you get all your comments to move over in just one click? I was under the impression that was where the glitch was in moving these formats.

I'm inspired by your new blog on gardening. I went to MyBlogLog to get the name again and it isn't listed there. Please do remind me of the name. Maybe I could introduce it next time I create a blog featuring bloggers using the multiple intelligences.

Gravatar Joanna, I truly think these are first class. You inspire me for all the recent moves you've made. It shows your flexibility and openness. Hmmm... now that's an invaluable quality for a writer.

Gravatar Robyn:
You are so right -- moving a blog from one format to another really makes you rely on and appreciate the help of friends. I know when I moved my blog in Dec/Jan this past year, there were many frustrating moments that were solvable by "just one click". That's where the friends come in -- telling you which "just one click"!

And I have to tell you I'm inspired by your new format of the MyBlogLog widget that shows so much about a blog and blogger with just a hover. Very cool.

Having the gravitars (is that the right word?) photos here in the comments with Haloscan really makes the discussions seem like more of a community. Your blog was the first one of the blogs I read to incorporate the photos.

Thanks so much for building your BrainBasedBiz community!

Chris

Gravatar Robyn, what I love about blogging is the way we can learn from and teach each other. Ellen's blog looks great - well done to everyone involved for pulling it off!

Joanna

Gravatar Thanks, Terry. I truly enjoy that photo of you at the upper right of your blog. It seems to make it so personable.

Gravatar Why thank you for those kind words about my WordPress blog, Robyn! I checked out Ellen's new home, and I like it a lot. (I like the blue and black on white).

I hope all is well with you these days, and all the best!

Terry

Gravatar Brad, you are one of the best community builders I know. I've been enjoying the guest bloggers on your site. You inspire me. And thanks again for the great recommendation of Lara.

Gravatar Hi Robyn, Ellen's new blog looks wonderful. So glad Lara was able to help you out. Community really is what makes blogging so special, and your post here is a fine example!
