Gravatar i want to be genius but i can`t (

Gravatar Well done, Robyn. Trying to explain how thought processes work in everyday terms isn't easy. I took a stab at it myself in today's post (in which I reached out to you for help!). Anyway, with the right techniques and training, any person can think more creatively. It doesn't mean everyone can become a genius, but can't everyone experience moments of genius?

Gravatar Bilah, thanks for stopping by. I'm hoping that you would be willing to take a new risk. There is much evidence about the brain to show that when folks believe they can - then they can. The steps may be small at first but, over time and practice, people learn. Human beliefs about what they can do bring about outcomes like self-fulfilling prophecies.

Gravatar Hi Brad, I'll come and take a look at the post you mention. We indeed can have moments of genius. And, if we build enough dendrites for solving problems we can build a mindset in this directions. I have the sense that no one would go around and begin to brag that he or she is a genius.

My feeling is that genius is not a self proclaimed title, but something others would recognize in you by what you produce.

Thoughts?

Gravatar I just Twittered this post. Needs to be spread far and wide. Great job.

Gravatar Cam, thanks so very much. I found the strategies very helpful personally!

Gravatar GREAT post Robyn.

I heard about it from @CamBeck's twitter.

Gravatar Thanks so much Shama! You are kind to say so. I'm glad that Cam's a mutual friend so that I could meet you.

I'll be checking out your blog to see what you do!

Gravatar Now why did you go and give it away? Now everyone will be thinking like a genius.....
It is all about the connections developed with collaborators using communication. Einstein connected with prior knowledge (and other biochem things of which i have no knowledge or understanding) within a group of collaborating scientists communicating ideas with words and images.
So that's why we teach k12 learners the three C's! Thanks Robyn!!

Gravatar Welcome back, Mrs Durff! It's great to hear what you think about this... So I gave it all away, did I? Hmmm... we'll have to think like geniuses to see what the next step will be!

I always enjoy the snippet of humor you drop when you visit!
