Sorry to hear you are down in the dumps. There's a lot of that going around lately :-( Twin Peaks was great! You probably like Cohen Brothers films as well, I am guessing.

Sorry to learn of your blue feelings. Are you cold? Seems odd to see 63 degrees in Baghdad.

The temps here are getting a bit chilly. It is invigorating and reminds me of home. I wish I had a hot tub here. ... and a few bottle of wine.... and a couple of hot chicks.
I am not depressed so much as just not really into it.
I have amassed quite a large list of petty and grand grievances against the "system".

I'm sorry that you feel so down, what can I do to turn that frown upside down??? LOL... I thought a little humour might make you smile. ... a little... This might take you out of your apathy, what do you think of the election results? In my opinion I think America has elected a President with such a dubious and not fully known background, but what do I know.

I really enjoyed your Sep 11 post on the Sandbox. And I came to your blog to read more. It's a real drag to have to read basic economics for the first time! Me, too. Don't let it get you down.
The Twin Peaks post was great!
I'm only a tax paying citizen but my family's fought my country's wars for over a couple of hundred years. During the Civil War, we fought on both sides. That was a total bummer!
Keep smiling when you can - and please write more.
God bless. (An old fashioned blessing!)

Thanks bonnie.
You misunderstood. I intend to write about economics, not read it.
War of 1861. That was a real bummer, not that I remember it. And you wouldn't have had relatives on both sides if your family had enforced a strict "no-intermarrying with the foreign invaders" policy.
