I'll give them an "A" for creativity! They have done a nice job with some of their structures. I especially like the mosque minerette. Very nice touch.
BTW, I'm still waiting on my 50 feet for my fence :-)

You can do the same thing with the metallic grid that builders use to reinforce concrete. Just "relocate" it from your nearest construction site.

But it's not the beautiful white coated fence that the Army has. I know I can paint it, but I'm lazy, plus it probably won't be as nice as the Hesco!

So, you can wake up next to that cow snorning in your face for what seems like an eternity!
Oh give me strength...

I could be wrong, but I recall seeing enormous mounds of rusting, discarded HESCO shells in US military dumps in Iraq. They used to be everywhere, but were mostly trashed after the proliferation of the T-Wall.
So if the Iraqis are actually salvaging trashed HESCOs, this shows ingenuity rather than waste.

As I pointed out on another site. They aren't salvaging used ones, they use exclusively new ones for their crafts projects.
