I gotta tell ya, as "evil" as it supposedly is to "steal" creative material (yeah, if I could get published, I'd probably feel differently) --- I'm with the hackers on this one. It's not like they're stealing CITIZEN KANE, for fuck's sake --- they're stealing shit like "FAST & FURIOUS 2"!!!!!!
And yeah, I've seen the little commercials when they whine & bitch about how pirated materials rob all the "working people" of the industry, but you know what? It really doesn't. The gaffers and craft services people don't see a fucking DIME of profit-sharing. NOT A FUCKING *DIME*. And not one fucking studio has "lost" enough money to cut back on production. NOT ONE.
The only "working people" they're "protecting" are their STOCKHOLDERS. People who've never seen the inside of missed-meal colic and never will.
