UPDATE! 27/01, 17:05pm
I've just received the corrections to the minutes by Lee Salter and Kevin Moloney and have incorporated the revisions into the main article (the words / passages changed are now in bold; excluding obviously the headings and subheadings).
The main revisions are:
1. LS Presentation: "illocutionary" instead of "elocutionary" (makes sense, doesn't it!) [and subsequently my definition of it]
2. LS Response: "In essence, Lee wonders whether we really need democracy for the function of the "real" public sphere - after all, if we simply accept manipulation, power differentials and the unchangability of the economic system then why bother with the rhetoric of democracy? [penultimate point of Lee's response]
3. KM Comments: "Platonic" (rather than Platonian - where did i get that from?)
4. KM Comments: "empirically-led" (rather than realistic)
5. KM Comments: "seeking truth selectively" (rather than not-truth seeking)
REVISIONS END.
