Yes, I like England's very old history, from the beginning of civilisation 1100 to 1700, exactly what we don't have here. I was there for a year and was always awed in ancient buildings.

my last place (dearly missed) you could pick out on old streetmaps of london from 400+ years ago. and you can see it today on googlemaps, with me out on the back roofterrace having a cup of tea and reading the sunday papers. superb.
