Media representatives arent' sure how the miscommunication happened, and there are accusations that media leadership knew all along, but did nothing to stop the intial jubilation of leftist media hacks.
While Fox News may have been first out of the gate in the race for news/entertainment programming, they have plenty of company these days and certainly do not appear dead.
Both extremes like to play the biased media card and both have their favorites but in truth, it's all pretty much cookie cutter these days. The age of hard news reporting died over a decade ago so from that standpoint, Fox News may well be dead. But so is ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC... etc, etc and of course, etc.
