oh my! i remember listening to this interview late at night on huge huge headphones (my dad's). everyone else was fast asleep upstairs. i remember them playing the loving spoonful, the "good with numbers" bit and also a part when he said (something like) .."usually if it sounded good back in 1962 it usually sounds good still." or something like that. sigh
