Hi from Tucson, Arizona. The show here last night was superb. He didn’t use a pick or a guitar strap or a soundhole pickup -- didn’t even need them! Just a mike for the vocals and a lower mike for the acoustic guitar. How cool.

My name is Jay Pluck. My 11 year-old brother, Thomas, has been a devout fan of Jonathan Richman for several years now, ever since I made him a sweet Jonathan mix.

He was planning on flying to New York to see Jojo with me at the Bowery Ballroom. However, the venue has age restrictions. Thomas is seriously bummed and would be seriously elated to see Jonathan. I think that if I could just get this message to his ear, Mr. Richman would somehow arrange for Thomas to be able to attend.

I wonder how I can pass this along to Jojo. By the way, my mother (also a fan) and I will be in attendance at the Tuesday show and I will tell ya'll about it.
