We Pay YOU!!! Here at Rowe's we have some of the best craft bakers in Cornwall. They all work tirelessly trying to bring you, the consumer, exciting new products and also some variations on the traditional favourites. We believe we have superb products to suit everyone's tastes but we're always open to new ideas. That's where you can help us and also help yourself! If you have an idea for something new and scrummy why not tell us? And what's more, if we can produce it and feel there'll be wide enough appeal to sell it in our shops, we'll pay you for the idea!

We'll be happy to pay you £50 or if you prefer we could make a donation to a school or charity of your choice.

Please send us your ideas ...

Gravatar I think you should do a fruit pasty with apples and things like that in it

Gravatar We have to wait for our annual holiday to Devon to buy your delicious saffron buns stocked by Sainsbury's in Newton Abbot
Why not do a "Saffron" marketing campaign in all Sainsbury stores in St Albans (don't forget the Savacentre at London Colney..it is massive !! Go for it, and we'll all "Crowe for Saffron !!

Gravatar Well, as we are all Celts, how about a haggis, turnip and potato pastie. You could produce them for occasions involving Scotland,ie the rugby or St Andrews day. Can't wait to get back to Truro for some of your pasties. Thanks. Dave.

Dear Sirs

We are one of the main distributors in Spain for the UK ex-pats market.

I have seen your products at Sainsburys and I would like to explore the possibility to sell your range Cornish Indulgence in Spain

Kind Regards

Gravatar i would really like to see a chicken and bacon/ham pasty.also are you bringing back your pizzas and quiches?

Gravatar We stayed over in Cornwall last month, and had some of your delicious 'Original Cornish Fairings' cookies. I live in London, and would love to get ahold of some more. Do you know where I could find them, or if you could deliver some if I paid for them?

Gravatar Where can I get your saffron buns, now Waitrose no longer stock them - do you do mail order

Gravatar would it be possible if you made banoffee scones, i had one went i went on holiday to ireland and they are very tastey. also for easter, do choclote chip hot cross buns, they are also fantastic

Gravatar i noticed that you have pasty of the month so why not try a cake or bun of the month?

Dear Customer

We already have the following monthly lines: Sandwich, Pasty and Slice. The confectionery side of our business is a little more complex and to set up short runs can be costly and logistically difficult. But thanks for your Suggestion which will be put to our New Product Development Manager

With kind regards

WC Rowe

Gravatar The girls in the Penzance shop, are the happiest and lovliest bunch you could ever hope to come across. It's a pleasure going in there for my pasties!! Best Pasties in Cornwall, don't ever try to improve on them cos you never will!!! Just keep them as they are!

Gravatar i loves them pasties!!! ooh arr, especially the gert geat ones, please dont get rid of the salmon ones, i thinks they are great!!!! love me xxx

Gravatar Heavens above! I have just bought your Cornish Clotted Cream Scones from Sainsbury's and was very impressed with the balance, flavour and texture. This is very important to me as it was drummed into me while training as a Pastry Chef at Raymond Blanc's Restaurant Le Manoir, in Oxford. I have made a lot of scones for Afternoon Teas at Le Manoir and these scones of yours wouldn't look out of place on a Le Manoir doily. There is a slight bitter after-note coming from the raising agents I would presume, but not enough spoil the overall balance. It would be interesting to explore this scone without any sugar added and have sultanas as a substitute.

Taste the Difference scones are now available from your local Sainsbury’s in the following varieties; Cornish Clotted Cream, Sultana and Davidstow Cheddar Cheese.

Gravatar I've just phoned your Head Office and wanted to put in writing for all to see - your Cornish Clotted Cream Scones, as supplied to Sainsbury's, are delicious. They're the nicest scones I've ever tasted, and I was very tempted to tell a little white lie when friends asked if I'd baked them myself. I think I'd have got away with it!

Gravatar We enjoyed your Hevva buns with a cup of tea whilst we were studying. They were our inspiration for completing our work. Thankyou. The Hevva fans!

Gravatar I have 4 of your frozen ready to bake pasties currently cooking in the oven... the smell is divine. Used to go to Penryn School and dash over the playing field to the factory to buy pasties at lunchtime, good memories! Glad to be able to buy them in Taunton!

Gravatar IM COMING HOME IN JANUARY TO FALMOUTH MY MUM WORKS FOR ROWES AND THOSE PASTIES ARE DIVINE I JUST CAN WAIT TO SCOFF THEM DOWN AND THE CREAM BUNS YOU ALL DO A GREAT JOB AT ROWES NOTHING COMPARES EVEN IN THE USA I LOOK FORWARD EVERY YEAR TO BINGE ON ALL YOUR "LUSH" FOODS

Gravatar After living in Cornwall, since 1988, today I had a Rowes pasty for the first time in at least 6 or 7 years.

I can honestly say, it was the best I have had in a very long time!

Thank you

craig

Gravatar since visting penzance many of times, i can safely say that all the girls in the in the penzance branch are a cheerful and well presented bunch i dont think there is a better pasty shop within penzance. I do have a pasty recipe idea of chicken and bacon i personally feel that it would go down a strom.

Gravatar I have just read on MAGA's website about your recent initiative for your staff to use some Cornish when addressing customers. May I congratulate you all? It will have been a massive gesture in the progress of the public's awareness of the language. As a Cornish learner in Wales I am acutely aware of the positive eefect that this can have.
