It's been far too long since we've talked, my friend, but I wanted: 1) to check in with you, and see how you're doing (I could find your e-mail address, but it'd take a minute...and I'm lazy as heck), and 2) because Mark Teahen's power stroke is just on fire, and while it's obviously a streak, I think at this point it's also obvious he is showing that he is more capable at the plate than most gave him credit for.
And heck, John Buck is really doing his best Mike MacFarlane impression, putting up solid offensive numbers for the catcher position, and of course DeJesus has been on fire as well since coming off the DL.
So, after all that, I come to this -- have the last month and a half of Royals baseball made it plausible that we knew what we were talking about before, that 2007 would be a year for marked improvement in the franchise?
(Just ignore the pitching for now, think position players)
