Gravatar Hi Roger,

I saw your message in the screenwriting forum and thought I'd check out your blog. Looks great! I especially like your advice on writing what you feel.

On another note, I too am a recent OSX convert. It's a whole new, happy world, isn't it?

Come visit my blog when you get a chance - www.thethirddraft.com. You'll see I've already included a link to you. I'd love your feedback on my site.

See you around the scribosphere!
Alexis

Gravatar Your blog is crisp, refreshing and healthy, like seltzer with lime.

Gravatar Hi Roger. I found your blog on a search. Looks like you're off to a good start.

My blog, Tales from the Cellar, documents a micro-budget filmmaker's perspective, covering screenwriting to DVD authoring--and everything in between.

Keep up the good work,

-Mitch

Gravatar Fun blog, Mitch! Judging by what I've seen, I know you'll be interested in my friend and colleague's new website, "Trailers From Hell," at, what else, trailersfromhell.com. Check it out!

Gravatar lol. I have to admit, our stuff does fit. However, as I take a more active role, I'm hoping to climb out of the cellar. Though, I plan on keeping the name

Gravatar The progenitor of "Trailers from Hell" is Joe Dante, director of, among other movies, "Gremlins," so please don't think I disparage "cellar movies" in any way. Quite the contrary.

Gravatar Not at all. And neither do I. There will always be a place for those movies in my world. But I do want to take a crack at going beyond the niche.

Gravatar Roger, I love your description of my blog! Mind if I use it and quote you on my website?

Alexis

Gravatar Of course! Mention the blog, too, if you would.

Gravatar Thanks, Roger. Go to my home page to see how it looks.

I'm sure I'll be referring to your blog often in my posts.

Best,
Alexis

Gravatar Wow, a place of honor! Thanks.

Roger

Gravatar Mais bien sūr!

Alexis

Gravatar Well I don't have a screenwriting blog but I do have a blog about grant programs and more information about the grant process.

There are a number of grant programs available for screenwriters and I thought that you would like to get a "heads up" on this topic.

After all the woman that wrote the Harry Potter books got a grant for her writing.

If more screenwriters and aspiring screenwriters knew about the grant programs that are out ther maybe that will help them to realize their dream more!
