Great idea for a post! Always nice to know about the person behind the blog. Thanks for including me. Here are a few things about me.
1.Grew up in Aurora, Illinois, 30 miles west of Chicago. Back then it had a population of maybe 30,000. Now it's the 3rd largest city in Illinois.
2.After graduating from Northwestern University, I backpacked all over Europe for 4 months with a couple friends. A life-changing experience.
3.Have a picture of Jay Leno with two of my daughters, which we took at Midway Airport in Chicago just before he got the Tonight Show gig and became a superstar. He couldn't have been more gracious.
4.I love to read about world history, theology, and technological trends in business. I'm a big rock fan, especially alternative. The Cure and The Smiths are probably my favorite bands. My dad tried to get me to appreciate opera for 20-25 years, but I think he's given up.
