Well I don't believe that money is the root, I feel it is greed. Because these people used greed and wanted money. The money has no real part. It is an object were as the greed is rooted in the person.
Firstly, Im glad to you still have your religion.Second, how can these people be happy when they are living hypocritical and damned lives? And thirdly, was there ever a serious attempt to bring these cases to court or was the response to let them go so as not to give the church a bad name? I do not know which..
