I wore L'Air du Desert Marocain today, layered with Andy's Pour Elle. Both scents are fabulous. He is a talented perfumer.

I love all of Andy's scents and can't wait for the new lavender. But L'Air is definitely my favourite - a scent I never want to be without. Utter, pure, spicy and warm perfection, dry and engimatic as the desert, mysterious and compelling as far-away places and Sindbad's and Marco Polo's travels, enticing and fascinating as the tales of 1001 nights. If I ever managed to create something so perfect, I'd probably wake up nights for years to come and congratulate myself warmly. Or burst with pride on the spot!

Oh, baby !
This is a true classic in every sense.
I adore it, it is a perfectly balanced symphonic work.
Do I love it ?
Think Molly in Ulysses... !
Great job, P-Dawg !
Kisses to you, Sug.

Dear Greeneyes
I read your post and am very, very much enchanted. Talking about heat and l'air du désert...Allow me to share a little encounter I had in Tunesia one evening, in summer, when the wind turned and the hot air from the desert flew over the coast and made you feel like you 1. need a beer immediately and 2. a follow-up second beer 15 min later. I sprizzed L'air du désert, to celebrate the desert and the well deserved beer, and on our way to the bar, a hotel servant walking behind us, approached me. He asked what I was wearing. I told him and then he look towards the sky and said "... ahhhhh...l'amour ...." Maybe he thought about his wife and his swift return home on that hot evening.I do not know, but he sure loved the perfume on that hot evening.
Thank you for your lovely post.

Dear Andy, it means so much to me that you enjoyed the post. I can picture your story! L'amour indeed...I really do think this scent would be amazing in dry desert heat. Next time we head out west, I'm taking some with me. Luckily, it stays cool in Atlanta into April (with a hot one here and there), so I have months left to enjoy this. And as I plan to try all the rest, I am sure I can find one of your lovely creations to wear in summer as well. Thank you again for sharing your creations with the world. All best to you!

We're really fragrance twins, and no one would believe us that the timing of our posts was not planned
Your little package will be sent either today or tomorrow. I hope you'll love Le Maroc as much as I do.

Hi Gaia! I know...when I went to visit your blog to day I bust out laughing. Such synchronicity! I can't wait to get my package...thank you so much. You have to try IrisLA's layering technique too, and we can all compare notes.
