Gravatar Now look what you've done--released a new lemming! The pic is indeed gorgeous and I'd love to be rolling in all that blue right now! I've not tried this brand, and hope I find it at the Sniffapalooza!

Gravatar Bluebell is a gorgeous thing !
It wears like iron, too-
despite its ability to evoke the fragile, delicate beauty of evanescent things...

I think it can be a love-or-hate scent, from what I've observed;
definitely love, here !

How are you, baby ?
Doin' OK ?

Gravatar Vida, I'm warning you...it's every bit as good as the picture. Every bit!

Gravatar Good morning Chaya! Much, much better, thank you. I hope you are also well this fine morning.

I wonder if people might hate this because it's unexpected? I just find it so springy and wonderfully clean. And you're right--it lasts forever, and holds true.

Gravatar I love this one too. It's not always an easy scent for me to wear, sometimes it turns kind of harsh on me, but I do love it nevertheless.

Gravatar Hi M. I wonder if the harshness comes from the cinnamon? I have that problem sometimes. Lovely to see you!

Gravatar That picture is like something out of a dream! I want to climb into it and hike through that blue mist of flowers.

Greeneyes, the beauty and the danger of coming to your site is, as Vida mentioned, that you are quite good at creating lemmings. Be still my heart!

Gravatar Suzanne, this one is worth it, though! Wait...I probably say that about everything, don't I?

If it helps, I don't much care for what I'm wearing today, so maybe that will offer some relief. tee hee

Gravatar Hello!
I always thought that Bluebell wasn't for me... but after reading your review, I'm definitely going back to my sample to sniff again! Speaking of Penhaligon's, I'm wearing Violetta today... mmm, one of my faves for spring.

Gravatar The first time I tried Bluebell it reminded me of something from my childhood. I wanted to know what it was desperately, so I got a bottle. I enjoy wearing it at times, at certain moods, but I haven't found out what that distant past thing is.

Gravatar Hi Nikki! Sadly, the sample set does not have Violetta in it. I'll have to scheme to get my hands on some. It sounds very pretty.

Gravatar Jane, isn't that interesting? I find scents like that too. They seem so familiar but so hard to place. I always wonder, did I have a teacher who wore the scent? A friend's mother? It's a mystery.

Gravatar hi again-
I'll send you a sample of Violetta! I'll email you with deets.
-Nikki

Gravatar Oh, that picture! Oh, that bottle! This is a line I've not experienced at all, but am fascinated with, mainly because I always thought that Cassandra, of "I Capture the Castle", smelled this bluebell scent in the shop where she and Rose tried to sell their Aunt Millicent's furs....lovely to read your post as always!

Gravatar Thanks Nikki! You can also get my info off the package I sent you...should be getting it soon, I hope!

Gravatar Rosarita! You are right! I had forgotten about that! Oh, then you must, must smell this one. I need to read that book again soon. It's so lovely.

Gravatar Ah! Welcome back! I'm in NYC this week and just saw this at Aedes but didn't sniff -- it seemed so...English...in the midst of all my Parisian sniffage. But now I think I might have to go back. Central Park is full of tiny daffodils and little blue flowers that look just like your pretty photo.

Scored a sample of Osmanthus Yunnan at Hermes today!

Gravatar Hi A. Osmanthe Yunnan...Mmmmm. Great score!

Gravatar I wondered what this was all about. I love the idea of a blue tone in perfume, and want to try this now more than ever...

Gravatar I sometimes visualized the scents as well but not as pretty as yours!
