Ah- one of my, and Andy T's favorites.
You must smell divine...
I'm still in last night's vestiges of AL Honey [ooh !] with Creative Scentualization's Love Comes From Within.
That's a 'P' combo, for certain.
I'm going to give Gaucho a good workout, and then maybe snuggle up in Cabanel Oha- very opoponaxy.
Love you, P !
Have a great w/e...

My dear Chaya! You always smell like a dream, there is no doubt! What a lovely and amazing thing to read about you this morning on Perfume Smellin' Things. Such an incredible person you are, and such a generous and kind friend to us all.
Love and hugs to you! P

yay!! thanks, girl!
I keep reaching for Neroli. I'm trying to learn its ins and outs. Plus, it's just too pretty on my dresser. But your post reminded me that May Day is just weeks away, and that's when I take out my lily of the valley scents. Hmm, May Day might come a little early at my house...!

Hi, greeneyes and everyone. Diorissimo is lovely, and if the weather would cooperate, it would make a lovely spring morning choice. But, it's a chilly, rainy day and I went for Bond 9 New Haarlem, my creamy coffee rainy day favorite. Here's hoping to Diorissimo weather for the weekend - have a good one.

Hi Greeneyes,
Today I'm trying Bond No. 9 Chinatown for the first time. When I first put it on, I wasn't sure what to think, but now, after some time has passed, all I can say is WOW!! I'm already addicted, and Chinatown has moved to the top of my "next-perfume-to-invest-in" list!
Glad you're feeling better, and have a great weekend!

I've never tried Diorissimo or any of the Diors, for that matter. Will have to rectify that. Hope you're feeling better soon, Greeneyes. Your review of Balkis was wonderfully evocative, by the way.
Today I'm wearing Andy Tauer's Incense Rose, and am liking it more and more now that I've learned to use a veeery light touch when applying. Incense Extreme is my favorite of his two incense scents, though.
*Waves to Rosarita* You smell yummy in New Haarlem! I love that one, too!

Nikki I had planned to write about Neroli this week. It'll have to wait until next week, I guess.
The timing for lily of the valley here in the South is just right. So we get that, and you get Powell's Books. I'm not sure how fair that trade is!

Rosarita, I have a sample of New Haarlem that Gaia sent to me so long ago, and it's in my Bag o'Bonds. I sniffed it when she sent it, but have not worn it yet. Must remedy that!
Here's hoping spring reaches you soon (and the bad weather stays away).

Hello Claudia! You are in good company. Many people with excellent taste love Chinatown. It happens to be my mortal enemy, but I am happy the sample found a loving home! And oh--that bottle!

Suzanne, I am light on the Dior testing myself. It's another "focus" perfume this year. You really should try this one--it's so fresh and lovely. I haven't tried Andy's new Incense scents yet, and I must. I thought your post on Andy was wonderful. I LOVE your journal.
Everyone' Suzanne's link has been in my sidebar, and if you haven't visited her yet...get on it!

Feel better soon! Having had the flu for weeks now (it seems...) I can understand the agravvation of it all.
I chose the very spring-like yet lamentably discontinued "Flora Nerolia" by Guerlain: its ethereal neroli is underscored by the merest shady hint of incense wafting from a nearby church.
Nice blog you have there, perhaps we should link to each other.

Diorissimo - sigh. My mother wore that for years and I love it. But it smells terrible on me - even in parfum. You will smell divine in it, I am sure.
Me, I went for Guerlain L'Instant and samples of Parure and Chamade - trying to decide on whether to purchase decants or bottles of the last two.

Pavlova, I tried "After My Own Heart" on Saturday, but unfortunately the pollen was "after my own nose," so I couldn't smell it! I will be trying it again soon, though.
Also...I am now deep into The Emporer's Children--and loving it. I did not want to come to work today. I wanted to stay home and read!

Dear Helg, I am familiar with your wonderful blog, and I would be pleased to add a link to it. I never demand reciprocation, but if you wish to add my link to your blog, you certainly will hear no complaints from me.
Hope you are all over the flu now. It's been awful this year.

Kim, I'll have to write about Diorissimo, won't I? Hm...
On those Guerlains, buy Chamade--it's worth it. Parure has been discontinued, which makes me ill. I haven't been able to find it. I tried to order it online, from a site that said it still had some available, but my order went into the ether. I just have a tiny decant.
