Gravatar I adore this scent, at this time of year.
Funny, I am not driven to wear it at any other time....
It must be the association with lindens in bloom, and being fully pregnant both times, in concert with nature.

You're so right- it does trap warmth, and stays a long time on the skin.

A lovely review !

Gravatar I loved Eau du Ciel but gave it away - I'm in no way fit to wear anything as gentle. To me, it's a soft summer shower, and if it were a colour, it would be the angel-wing, heartbreaking blue of a set of jewelry I saw in Paris years ago. So yes, tender as an angel's wing, although not sweet..... Maybe I should try to get some again - just to experience such gentleness in a bottle!

Gravatar I think this is the best Goutal. I do feel its lovely and cannot think of any other scent that is similar.
I just think of rain when I wear it. I have to buy it overseas as its never imported here in Australia. Shame.

Gravatar Dinazad, it *is* a soft summer shower! I wanted to say it's the way woods smell in late spring after a thunderstorm, coll and warm at the same time, green but floral, something on the breeze.

I got a miniature of this one at overstockperfumes.com. If you don't know that you want a full bottle again, a mini might be just the thing!

Gravatar Chaya, what wonderful memories to connect you to this scent! I'm glad you got my "trapped warmth" thing...it really does, doesn't it!

Have a lovely weekend, dear friend!

Gravatar Ladyjicky...yes! Again, rain! And you're right: I can't think of anything I've tried that's quite like this, either. I love the violet in this...and the lime blossom. That makes it a bit unusual.

Gravatar Now you've done it !
I've dredged up my bottle and doused myself, good.
I think I'll be wearing this for the next few days...

Gravatar Chaya, at least this one holds up well under dousing...it just gets prettier, really! Enjoy it and have a lovely day!
