Good morning, Greeneyes. I'm in a chypre mood after reading Marina's post today at PST, so I'm going to dab on a little Coty Chypre (since I don't have the chypre she wrote about). I am so suggestible lately I feel like Pavlov's dog.
No need to put me in the drawing. I have been gluttonous lately and need to put a damper on it.
Have a lovely weekend.

My sample of Mahora has disappeared so am trying the new version, Mayotte, inspired by your post on Monday. Much to my surprise, I am finding a love for white florals! And I'm off to The Perfumed Court to order Mahora to compare, and Ineke Evening....
Also loved your promiscuous reader post - says she who recently knocked over the stack of books at the bedside! LOL

I needed a light and fresh yet calming scent today. There's only one fragrance that qualifies for this: Philosykos.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi,
I'm wearing YSL Paris Roses des Bois today, but I'm not sure about it. It's very pretty, but rose fragrances and I don't always go together for some reason. I may switch to Jolie Madame when this wears off because there is nothing but love there. The trees are blooming here in Charlotte, so I expect that allergies will be bringing me down soon.
I'd love to be in the drawing please!
Have a great weekend,
Kathy

I've been trying samples today. I seem to be really unlucky with all the Parfumerie Generale scents I try: today it was Tuberose Couture, which was as if you'd mixed Fracas with maple syrup. Yuck.
(I'd love to be in the draw)

I'd love to be included in the drawing! Thanks! I'll be on vacation next week and offline (woo-hoo), so if you draw my name, I'll get back to you when I get back.
As for my Friday scent? Creed's Virgin Island Water. It's SNOWING here today. Had to get the tropical feelin' going.
Have a great weekend, greeneyes!

hi-
this week i've been wearing neroli by annick goutal. so fresh and yum! i'm curious to hear your thoughts on bluebell. i have a small sample and while i like it, it's not for me. i was torn between bluebell and violetta and violette won. but i liked the freshness of the bluebell, and how it had a freshly-tilled earthiness to it; not musky, but like clean dirt!
please enter me in your drawing, and have a great weekend!

Hi Greeneyes,
Today I'm wearing a sample of Le Labo Aldehyde 44 - love the sparkly spring-ness of this one, hate the price tag.
I'd love to be entered for the sample pack - always fun to try new things and you blog often inspires what I try!
Have a great day and thanks for the draw!

Hi greeneyes,
A review of Apres l'ondee on Perfume Posse inspired me to pull it out and wear it. I got it in a swap some time ago, but I'm still on the fence about it. Please include me in the drawing and I must say...
Spring? Bah, humbug! I'll be cranking up the air conditioning and wearing Tabac Blond as long as I possibly can. I don't like florals, pastel colors, or dressees, so spring is just not for me.

Trying out Parfumerie Generale Louanges today. I have a large "to try" bag - courtesy of a sample-buying spree.
I think the giveaway idea is brilliant. May need to do that myself... Oh - and count me in on the drawing. I'll even trade ya'

Perfume naked today. Have the flu and can't smell a thing anyway. Staring at a bag of DSH samps though. Cimabue, Beach Roses, Sandalo Inspiritu, Oude Arabique. At the very least they sound delicious! Please enter me in the draw.

May piggy-winkles come and join ?

Kim, I ordered samples from Ineke, so look for more posts on that. I love white florals, and I am convinced there is a "right" white floral for everyone--just takes sampling.
I know all about knocking over those stacks of books! LOL

Sabrina...LOL. Now, you know you are going to get florals in that pack if it comes from me! But there could be other treasures...you never know.
I very much like Apres L'Ondee, but I haven't worn it in a while. I need to get it out and see. I tried it early on in my sampling career.
Now, a non-floral that I love to wear year round--Dzing! It's timeless, seasonless, and amazing.

Anne, sometimes the most comforting thing when one is sick--I cannot believe I am saying this--is no scent at all. It's true. It can be a relief. Plus, I don't like to end up having a scent that reminds me of the time I had that cold or flu or whatever...
You are entered in the drawing. Feel better soon!

Hi! I keep meaning to ring in on your Friday polls... I like your blog very much! This morning, I wore a little Violet Empire (CB) out to dig in the dirt and get some early planting done, but now, freshly showered and headed downtown for the evening, I'm putting on Daim Blond. Can't wear this one once it gets much warmer... BTW, I'd love to be entered in your drawing!

Hello! Look at how your generosity brought everyone out of the woodwork...it's nice to see all these comments.
My SOTD(s): Goutal's Chevrefuille this morning, then after a certain package arrived, a spritz of Let Me Play the Lion on one hand, and some Chanel Bel Respiro on the other. I think I'm going to have to write about LMPTL -- it is some seriously beautiful and strange stuff.

Friday I drenched myself in Chanel's Cuir de Russie edt from le Esclusifs. I am really surprised at how often I reach for this. It was a gift decant, and is just so lovely and long lasting.
Many things mentioned I too want to try. It's a tough job, but sniff on.
I would love to be included in the draw. Thank you !
