Gravatar Welcome back!

Job woes, been there, still there. It is such a mind- numbing, energy draining, I just want to sit and watch American Idol but too lazy to vote place. Yuck.

Please let us know if you put something on ebay. I would much rather buy something from you than complete strangers. I mean you are a stranger but not completely...

I hope everything is better soon.
I am wearing Feminite du Bois tonight. Warm and comfortable.

Gravatar So nice to see you, Greeneyes! No apologies necessary. I can respond to a couple of things you mentioned: I'm currently job hunting, which is NOT one of my favorite things, and I'm also moving in three weeks and in the middle of getting rid of lots and lots of stuff (the house we bought is much smaller than the one we have now, simplification being the goal.) So, take a breath, enjoy the spring and delight in the fact that you smell great! xoxo

Gravatar We all appreciate your job woes....
Soul-sucking.
Glad Dzing ! is helping out with ONE aspect.
Anything that keeps us afloat !

I dunno, babe-
I think the idea of passing on scent to a friend is a lovely thing, or can be.
I really enjoy 'passing on' jewelry, fragrance, books- to my dear ones- it's so very intimate.

I'm not going anywhere- Sending you my love and support.
MWAH- consider yourself kissed.

Gravatar Welcome back, Greeneyes! I think we can all relate to the miserable-job thing. Heaven knows I've been there! I hope you have great success in finding what makes you happy.

Yes, please let us know if you put anything on ebay.

Gravatar Hello greeneyes!
I wish you all the best and some positive changes in your job!
You remind me of the fact that I have never tried the famous Dzing - I should, though. Some day.
Uncluttering is such a relief. I'm actually in the midst of a "Entrümpelungsaktion" (uncluttering campaign) myself and have already thrown / given away or sold so many things (yes, fragrances, too). Feels good!

Gravatar P., if I ever win the lottery I will split it with you so that you can continue to entertain and enlighten us with your reviews (on any subject, but especially perfumes). Yes, you are dearly missed--but no need to apologize. We're all glad to know you are well. Here's wishing that many kind paths open up for you in the very near future.

Will look forward to hearing what you're wearing tomorrow (and if it's Dzing! again, all the better. Love it...need a bottle of it myself!)

Gravatar Hi Janet! Yes, strange but not a stranger.

I hope you find the strength to dial the phone for the finals! I joke, but it sounds like your energy is right about where mine has been, so you have my sympathy!

Gravatar Rosarita dear, you have so many exciting things going on! True, looking for a job is not fun. but starting a new job IS fun, so think about that. It's the closest thing we get to the first day of school, now that we're old enough to appreciate the full terror and excitement of the whole thing. Best of luck to you!

Gravatar Chaya, dear, nothing helps fight the doldrums like perfume and friends. I hope I can be a smart girl and remember that! Kisses to you!

Gravatar Claudia, that's why I really try to resist whining about the job thing--we've all been there! It's like getting caught in the rain or running out of gas, seemingly terrible at the time but truly not much of anything.

Gravatar Linaria/Uma, isn't it a wonderful feeling to clear things out? Especially this time of year. You must try Dzing! If you send me your address, I will send you some.

Gravatar Suzanne, right back at you! Thank you so much for your kind wishes. You know, tomorrow I will most likely wear Dzing! I simply cannot stop myself. I'm not even going to try, at least for the rest of this week.

Gravatar I understand the career crisis thing. I do hope you find something more exciting and fulfilling.

And...I think ABC is going to pick up Scrubs next season!

Gravatar Hi Kathy! Really? ABC? I thought they were just tired of doing the show--not a network thing! How could NBC break up that line up?!

Gravatar Hi P!

I was worrying about you again! I'm so sorry to hear that your job has you down in the dumps. I do sympathize, some days I find myself thinking over and over, "just four years til retirement". But it all seems to go in cycles, hopefully yours will improve soon! Maybe you just need some time off? Or what the heck, maybe you can just chuck it all!!!

Gravatar I think it's time for you to write your novel. Yep. Take a crappy part-time job so that you can feel like you're helping out with the bills, get on your husband's healthcare plan, and hunker down with your computer. You'll be brilliant! I know it. And best: you'll be happier.

In the meantime, though, isn't Dzing great?

Gravatar Totally agree with Angela, and for completely selfish reasons, since I love reading your posts.

More writing! (of any kind) Less soul-sapping jobness! And we can all pitch in to keep you supplied with samples to review in your new cash-poor but time-rich existence.

Gravatar Thanks for your kind offer but I think sending a sample of Dzing half around the world would be a little exaggerated, don't you think? Thank you all the same!

Gravatar Alyssa's got something, my dear !
[I hope it's not catching, LOL...]

Today is Patou's Chaldee parfum-
A lovely/odd blend of vanilla and daffodils.

We're behind you, honey.
All of us, warrior women.

Gravatar Gail, it's true, things do go in cycles. I feel change is in the air for sure...just need to get off my butt and meet it head on!

Gravatar Hi Angela! You know that I owe my love of Dzing! to you, since you sent me my first sample. I remember your post on NST about your friend that had co-opted it, sort of...all I can say is, couldn't have been her fault! It's just too lovely!

Gravatar Alyssa (and Angela too), I swear I am working on the fiction thing! I really am. I'd love to be devoted, but Bob is chasing his dream right now, and I'm holding down the corporate job. Someday the tide will turn, and I'll keep trying nonetheless. You all will be the first to know if anything comes of my efforts.

Gravatar Linaria, first of all, we are perfume lovers, and nothing is too extreme. Second--do you think I would only send you ONE sample? Oh no, my dear!

Gravatar Chaya...LOL! You smell lovely! Hugs!
