Man, I missed you !
Soo good to have you back.
You and I agree on this one, too.
I recently bought La Chasse Extreme, and love the stemmy fresh crispness of it- yet retaining the elegant floral nature.
Know that you're loved, Miss P.

Chaya! Hooray! I have the Extreme sample floating around here somewhere...I'll have to find it. I can't wait for my bottle to arrive. I've worn this almost every day this week, and I just keep thinking, "Oh, *this* is how I always want to smell!" That could make sampling tough...but I'll end up feeling the same way about something else in a few weeks anyway. All part of the curse!
Hugs and kisses to you!

Yaaay, you're back! I've been checking regularly and worrying about you. Hope everything's okay and that you're well.
I just swapped away my bottle of La Chasse, I wish I knew that you loved it. Jasmine and linden just are not my friends
Glad to see you here again!

Hi Gail! Wow...thanks for continuing to check in! White florals can be tricky. I have a few that work for me, and some that don't agree with me at all. I love Songes, for instance, but oh, my aching head when I wear it! Glad I didn't go straight for the bottle, which was my first instinct when I read the notes.

Welcome back!
I adore La Chasse. It's my favorite light and feminine floral scent. It's pretty without being insipid.

La Chasse is one that I've been debating on trying for the last couple of weeks. I may try this, and place an order for the oil this weekend. Thanks and welcome back

Thanks Iris! Pretty without being insipid is a wonderful description...I'm wearing the Extreme version today, which is a more substantial and a bit warmer, and also lovely. I really like this Extreme version, but I think I prefer the EDT's delicacy.

Maryam, will you sample the oil? I'd like to hear about it...Like I said in my reply to IrisLA, what I love about the EDT is the delicacy of it. I wonder if the oil would be more intense? Better for lasting power, probably! You should try it either way...it's soooo pretty.

Hello Green Eyes!
So glad you are back. I was hoping you were ok. I know what you mean about sometimes just needing a break and feeling uninspired. Life gets busy and blogging loses all appeal. I get it.
What a lovely fragrance to get you once again inspired to share your words adn thoughts --with way more than 2 loyal readers!!
I love La Chasse, and I have such wonderful memories of the first time I ever smelled it. I was at Barneys in New York many years ago (maybe 6 or 7?) and the SA offered me a sniff and it was (as Oprah says ) an AHA! moment. La Chasse was like NOTHING I had ever tried befoer. I fell and I fell hard.
Now , I find it a little too sweet for me on most days, but I still lovingly sniff my bottle 2 or 3 times a week and remember my lovely NYC trip way back then.
Lovely post, and once again, GLAD YOU ARE BACK!

Hi Jen! Thanks so much! I'm happy, happy, happy to be back! And yes, I am so thrilled that my friends still visit! Yea! That was a big reason for me to get back to blogging. I missed you all.
La Chasse is too sweet for the girl who loves MPG Fleur de Comores?! That perfume gave me a cavity, I'm pretty sure...But seriously, I see what you mean. FdC is actually well-rounded and dense, where La Chasse is very light and sweet. So pretty!
Lovely day to you!

Hello! Thought I'd let you know you have one more reader. I started reading a few posts before Second Adolescence and really missed your voice during your absence. You have a wonderful, warm, endearing style -- please do continue!

Welcome back, I have been hoping you would post again soon. I don't think I have ever given up on anyone until at least a year has passed between posts, so you're safe!
I love La Chasse too, it is so ethereal, the best floral for days when it's just too darn hot to wear anything else.

Hi Flora! Thanks for not giving up.
I think La Chasse will definitely hold its own against the Atlanta heat. I love that it's neither citrusy nor beachy, but still feels like summer.

Great that you're back. I think spring does something temporarily to my perfume obsession - it goes on the backburner and I too reach for the safest of smells. I felt my interest wane a few weeks' ago - it is starting to return...
Yippee!

Hi Leo! Thank you! I think part of my problem here was actually that spring refused to arrive...we were trapped in a literal gray area where it's typically warm and sunny. It's beautiful now, though! Hope it's lovely where you are as well.

Nice to see you back! I'm wearing La Chasse today in honor of May Day - it makes me think of fields of spring flowers. Sweet and uncomplicated.
