Boo for the boos! And I'm with you on the househunting sighs. It's the worst.
But yay for the yays. Look at all that fabric...and I'm intrigued by your mother's day present to yourself...a big dolly cushion?? Interesting!

"People who cross my pram path at the shopping centre and make no effort to get out of the way" - I don't stop for these folks anymore... I run into them and then 'apologise' with a saccharine smile. Make them think twice before crossing an overtired mother again.

As long as the good outweighs the bad that's what I always say - and I reckon that fabric haul would knock all the bad sighs out!

Yep, that slice is a hit! I took it to playgroup and everyone wanted the recipe. I was going to pretend it was all my genius that created such a delicious slab of yum, but I was too lazy to write it all out so I just gave them your blog link instead.
Hope you are over the nasty gastro bug and chin up on the house hunting. You can buy my place if you like

I'm glad to see that at least the good sighs are outnumbering the bad sighs I am practically drooling with envy over your gorgeous fabric buying. That green floral piece is killing me - I love it!!! It's a horrible and bitter disappointment to miss something fun because you are sick (actually, I missed the birth of Jett as my kids had gastro at the time - not that I would have been there for the 'coming out' bit, but I would have been at the hospital waiting, and instead I had to wait three days until I could see them ). Hope you are all better now.

Hi! Thanks for your lovely comments in my blog. I used Otto issue 3/06 pattern #25 for the pants. That may be too big for your Smurf and there's another similar one which is smaller pattern #9.
Great score on those fabrics and hope you are better.

At least you are all sorted for next month. Gosh. you really did score big from the nuns.
Maybe, you could bring us a tub of that choccy slice to the next blogmeet...
