Nanna knits are the best. Lucky Smurf.
My Nanna was a little different - she bought me my first packet of Alpine Lights and offer me a beer first thing in the morning.

I'm impressed with the cardi and I am really impressed that she can sit on the floor and play with smurf. I find it hard enough to get up from the floor and I am a mum not a great grandma.
I look forward to seeing pics of the smurf wearing the outfit. I bought a hat like that from the local red cross shop today for my eldest daughter. We do not have any relatives who knit for us unfortunately.

Wow! It is beautiful, I love fisherman's rib. Wonder if Grandma would make one for me? Ha ha.
I know about the boy/girl cross over and it is the same with trousers.
Woman's trousers will cross different from your jeans?? I think.
Lovely photos of your Grandmother too.

Oh how sweet. It looks great. Yes I did know that and also the way people brush their hair over to one side, apparently one is for guys and one for girls. I only know because my hairdresser informed me I had been putting mine on the wrong side.
