The unique living DNA of the fetus proves that it is not the mother's body but a new distinct life growing within it.
This DNA proof is as binding as in any criminal case and supersedes subjective analysis.
Roe vs Wade was subjective in 1973. DNA fingerprinting made Roe vs Wade irrelevant in 1989.
What about protecting the sanctity of this new distinct life?
If you were solely responsible for anothers life and you knew you could safely save them but instead chose to let them die you would be criminally prosecuted.
A woman's relationship with her fetus is no different.

I am dismayed by the recent Texas Court ruling on fetal homicide.
They recognized that when someone else kills a fetus it's murder but when the mother does, it isn't.
How can their highest court discriminate a murder based on the identity of the murderer?
Maybe it's true that most people don't care about the truth.
