But.. but ... but we risk OFFENDING non-Catholics, homosexuals, remarried divorcees(without annulment), and others if we don't include them.... the Horror! what it must do to their self esteem when we don't affirm them!
throw out canon law and get with the times! canon law is so archaic. After all, the church must be whatever each person sees it to be from their own unique perspective, and according to their compelling life narrative....
