Gravatar She needed access to abortion to make a choice or to execute that choice.

Uhm, not having access would make the choice irrelevant, would it not? Not really a choice when there is only one option.

This lady would have aborted her own nephew!

Who is dead anyway.

This abortion clinic director is vehiculing the notion that some lives are not worthy. That some lives are not worth living; that some people would be better off dead.

And? Many of the people living those lives say the same thing - thus the fight for assisted suicide.

You think they should be forced to continue living - in pain, depressed, trapped in their own non-functioning bodies: too bad for them!

And this: "100% of abortion activists have never been aborted" is just dumb. Neither have 100% of pro-lifers, either.

Gravatar You know what would have made this post really a lot better? If you had the embryo saying "KTHXBAI".

Gravatar Why is this woman stupid?
We can talk all day how abortion is the LAST thing her sister and nephew needed but this woman has nothing between the ears but filling.

Gravatar "Neither have 100% of pro-lifers"

Well, I know that's not true, Gigi:

Gravatar I am not clicking that link, but I guarantee you, if someone is standing here yammering away about taking away my ability to choose a medical procedure for myself, they were not aborted.

Someone may have tried to abort them, but clearly it didn't happen.

Gravatar According to Dictionary.com: "Also called voluntary abortion. the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy."

But an objective dictionary definition is of less interest to me than that of a pro-choice proponent such as yourself. You have consistently maintained that abortions are about a woman's choice to have a "medical procedure," yet you don't believe an abortion has taken place unless there's a dead fetus or embryo to show for it. It seems to me that if abortion were truly all about a woman's choice to obtain a medical procedure to remove a fetus or embryo from her uterus, then Gianna Jessen's birthmother got exactly what she bargained for (to end a pregnancy) from her abortion doctor. If abortions are all about a woman's choice for her body, then abortion procedures which result in living (albeit damaged) fetuses are not only abortions, but successful abortions.

Your insistence that abortions aren't real unless the fetus or embryo dies tells me what you don't want to see (or hear): that even you believe that an abortion isn't about choice, it's about killing.

Gravatar "Dr. Tiller’s motto: 'Trust women.'”

This just strikes me as the oddest statement. I mean, can you imagine someone making any kind of reasonable point by saying, "Trust men"? Very odd.

Gravatar Then according to your theory, anyone who induces labour is an abortionist as well.

Gravatar Oh! And C-sections! Those are being removed and thus ending the pregnancy as well.

I guess there are a lot of aborted people running around. You want to let them know?

Gravatar Well, if you'd like to take issue with dictionary.com, I'm sure there is some way to contact them. But my layman's perspective would be that the difference between the definition of C-section and abortion is that the purpose of a c-section is to deliver a baby, whereas the purpose of an abortion is to end a pregnancy.
