well there was a couple in Alberta where the DR through negligence in a 40 hour labour he killed the child he refused to do a c section.
In my view thats murder.
If I go and put the boots to a pregnant woman and the baby doesn't survive thats murder but feminists are so hung up on themselves they do not care.

Canadian Ken Epps makes good point on his bill to punish individuals who commit acts of violence against pregnant women and their unborn children:
"There is something seriously wrong with our system when the so-called "right" to end a pregnancy takes away another pregnant woman's right to have her wanted baby protected in law....."

How does C-484 protect a woman's right to have her wanted baby? Please elaborate.

It would provide a deterrent for the guy who wants to force his girlfriend to have an abortion. If he kills the baby but the girl lives, he will get a longer sentence.

"It would provide a deterrent for the guy who wants to force his girlfriend to have an abortion. If he kills the baby but the girl lives, he will get a longer sentence."
Is he "forcing her" to have an abortion, or beating her until the baby dies??
And you think this bill will address this??
Do you actually believe that there are people out there that think: 'hmmm, if I beat my wife until the baby dies I'll only go to jail for 5-10 years... but with this new law it could be life! Maybe I shouldn't beat her.'
Come on Suzanne!! That's ridiculous!

As a matter of fact, yes, I do.
Come on Suzanne!! That's ridiculous!
Yeah, no one ever thinks of the consequences of their action.
But suppose you're right. Then why have sentences at all?
We keep people in prison according to the severity of the crime. Killing an unborn child should be more serious than beating up a woman. If I lose my unborn child, that is a far more tragic loss to me than getting beat up. I can't replace that baby.

"Yeah, no one ever thinks of the consequences of their action."
But there isn't a big difference between beating your wife until she loses the baby now compared to with this new law. The law already states that losing the baby means a harsher sentence than simply wife beating.
And the idea that 5-10 years (realistically it would be more if the baby dies) wouldn't deter the man, but life (which doesn't mean life of course) would. That's silly.
"Killing an unborn child should be more serious than beating up a woman."
And it already is!!!
I know you're aware of this because you've been told several times, and you haven't disputed this.
