Gravatar There is no excuse for not providing the public the needed data regarding abortion facts within the publicly paid for abortuaries.
The whole thing smells of an 'old girls club'.

Gravatar An abortion at 34 weeks because of a cleft pallet? Puhleeze, only an idiot would believe such an obvious lie.

Gravatar What?!? You live in a sheltered world if you don't think that it's possible.

Gravatar Robert:

You simply refuse to believe her statement on the basis that it contradicts your views. You have no proof she is lying.

On the other hand, we know that this kind of thing happens in other parts of the world where abortion laws are stricter. There's no reason to believe it does not happen here.

Gravatar I refuse to believe her statement on the basis that it's undocumented bullshit.

Gravatar So you say. How can you possibly know that? And WHY do you think it's not being documented by the authorities? So people like you can keep looking naively at the state of abortion in Canada and actually believe that this doesn't happen.

Gravatar Let's clean up our language, here. Please.

It's one thing to not trust a source. It's quite another to state that they are making statements at variance with the truth.

You have no basis to state the second.

Gravatar If a woman will kill her child just because it is a twin and she only wanted one, then killing a child with a cleft pallet is a no-brainer for these no-brainers.

Gravatar This morning in the Telegraph (UK)

In 2004, it emerged that a baby was aborted at 28 weeks after scans showed it had a cleft palate.

It's not a stretch to believe that such a thing could happen in Canada at 32 weeks, where abortion laws are non-existent.

Gravatar Robert, even if it were undocumented, what do you gain in denying that it happened. It is, after all, legal, and acessible in Quebec. Philippe Couillard made sure of it.

Do you feel better in pretending these things don't happen? Does it appease your conscience?

There's no reason to question the source of the information, but I definitely see why you'd want to live in denial about the issue. It is, after all, horrific.

Gravatar Here are the guidelines from the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons for killing unborn persons in
Alberta: http://www.cpsa.ab.ca/ publicatio...20pregnancy.pdf

It is clear that late term abortions are allowed here in Alberta. As well, note in the guidelines (i)that "feticide" may be carried out using the injection of KCl into the heart of the unborn child. Further, note that when feticide has been chosen for the method of killing "careful consideration and documentation" concerning a Do Not Rescusitate (DNR) in anticipation of a possible live birth, should be made.

Gravatar If only men could get pregnant, feminists would abuse their 'equality' statis to make sure that men carried 'their' babies to full term if and when they wanted them. In fact if men carried the babies, we probably wouldn't have many abortions.

Gravatar " If only men could get pregnant, feminists would abuse their 'equality' statis to make sure that men carried 'their' babies to full term if and when they wanted them."

What a crazy thing to say!! Speculating this way does not help your cause.

"In fact if men carried the babies, we probably wouldn't have many abortions."

Utter BS... you think it's only women that are pro-choice??
