If real estate agents will stop stereotyping and steering minorities out of white neighborhoods, maybe more "white" churches will be segregated. I've never believed suburban churches were predominantly white by design, there just haven't been many non-whites in the area.

I think Adrian was just being descriptive. And I think if a church does have various cultures there's room to focus on different cultures at different times. It doesn't all have to be Eauropeans telling everyone else how things should be done. Sometimes the non-focus is a focus in my experience.

The diversity of backgrounds is one of the things I love about my church (the same one as Adrian's btw). I don't think it was really 'intentional', that's just how God built it. But I do think it's important that churches don't confuse living a Christian life with living a respectable white middle class life.
