I had the truck radio on some NPR talkshow the other morning (don't berate me, please) and Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard was pointing out how Hersh tended to take flights of fantasy. The NPR stooge (hostess) interupts with "Well, he did scoop the Abu Ghraib abuse scandal."

Groan.... leftists, they all use the same script.

What about Barbra Boxer and other Democrats claiming that Social Security was not in trouble because there was $5 trillion in the trust fund, when there is zero in the trust fund? Boxer said fixing social security would be "a piece of cake". I guess she has five trillion in her back pocket she can give us.

I don't know if this counts or not, but the ACLU lied on their website about the First Amendment -- stating that Free Speech was, by "no coincidence", the first right protected. It is not.

I wrote them a letter berating them for it. The page was later quietly changed.
