Places of peace, Jack? You mean like Nazi Germany, which had gun control laws? Murderous lunatics in that country burnt down whole synagogues, and, since no one was armed, no one was able to stop them. Well, at least they were "places of peace."

To a liberal, "peace" means surrender to whatever evil attacks us. And they are not too particular about which evil they surrender to - the communists, muslim terrorists, Matthew Murray, etc.

That is also why liberals think of churches as places of "peace" instead of places of worship or places having something to do with God.
